Please follow these contributor guidelines if you’d like to submit content to International Teaching Families. These guidelines help to ensure quality, consistency, and value for our readers.

We accept:
✅ Personal stories about expat parenting and school life
✅ Practical guides on adjusting to new countries
✅ Insights on cultural differences in family life
✅ Tips on international schooling, travel, or daily routines

1. What We’re Looking For

We do not accept:
❌ Overly promotional content or sales pitches
❌ AI-generated or plagiarised content
❌ Generic articles that lack personal insights

2. Formatting & Style

  • Length: 800–1,500 words
  • Tone: Engaging, personal, and informative
  • Structure: Use subheadings, bullet points, or lists for readability
  • Links: You may include up to 2 relevant links to your blog or resources (no affiliate links)

3. Submit Content: Our Process

  1. Contact us and let us know your article idea or draft. Be sure to provide your best contact email address so we can get back to you to discuss.
  2. Our team will review and suggest edits if needed.
  3. Once approved, we’ll schedule your post and share the publishing date.

4. Promotion & Author Bio

  • Contributors get a short bio (50–100 words) with a headshot and social links. So make sure to provide a photo! We’re happy to link to your LinkedIn profile, Instagram, personal portfolio page or anything you like.
  • We’ll promote your post on our social media and encourage you to share it too!
