International Schools: Profiles and Insights

Your resource for navigating international schools, the international education sector and life overseas as a family.

International Schools for Your Family

Moving overseas to teach can be one of the most rewarding experiences of your career — but choosing the right school for you AND your family makes all the difference about how much you gain from the experience.

That’s why we are researching and reviewing international schools around the world. We want to help teachers and their families make informed decisions before signing a contract.

Our school profiles bring together everything you want to know — from salary ranges, benefits, and savings potential, to lifestyle factors like safety, adaptability, and cost of living. All focused on family living.

How Our Reviews Work

We currently feature two types of reviews – independent school profiles, and teacher reviews to give you first-hand accounts of what it’s really like for teaching families.

ITF School Profiles

Our International Teaching Families school profiles are fact-based summaries researched and written by us. We’ve gathered verified information from official school sources, recruitment platforms, and expat insights to provide a clear, balanced overview of each school’s employment package, community, and local context.

You’ll find our independent reviews listed throughout this section and linked from the main school directory.

Teacher Reviews

Alongside our independent research, we’re also building a collection of first-hand teacher reviews â€” written by educators who have worked at these schools.

These personal accounts offer an authentic look into school culture, leadership, workload, and community life — complementing our independent profiles.
