The student make up at this school is incredibly diverse. There is no dominant culture. The students are an absolute pleasure to teach.
This school and Ghana in general offers a good community, a thriving culture and a great climate. While the leadership is lacking and programs aren’t as excellent as suggested it’s a cool place with nice people.

Lincoln Community School (LCS)Â is a leading not-for-profit international school located in Accra, Ghana. Established in 1968, the school has around 600 students from pre-school to Grade 12. It offers the full International Baccalaureate (IB) continuum, along with elements of an American-style education. The school is co-educational, English-speaking, and highly inclusive; around 70% of students are international.
The school’s vision to be the most exciting learning environment in Africa. It has values such as curiosity, kindness, resilience, and unity in diversity. Teachers and students are encouraged to co-design their learning.
The school staff are predominantly international. Teachers are expected to have a minimum of two years of experience and hold a teaching qualification. Recruitment usually starts in November for a July start, with an initial two-year contract.
