What Teachers are Saying Online About Lincoln School, Argentina
Lincoln is the big international school in Argentina but they expect 5+ years of experience as a baseline for most candidates.
It’s the highest paid school in Argentina. Savings depends on lifestyle but I’d say about one full salary as a couple with kids. But, the cost of living is rapidly rising and a month’s expenses is now double what it was a few months ago.
The big issue at this school is around pay. Locals are paid in pesos and the pay gap between locals and expats is huge. This leads to issues.

Safety, Adaptability & Cost of Living
General Overview for Teaching Families
Lincoln is located in the leafy suburb of La Lucila just outside central Buenos Aires. It’s considered to be one of the best international schools in Latin America and rates highly for teaching families. Salaries are paid in USD and there are generous family benefits on offer.
Although the cost of living is high, the school provides a high level of financial and lifestyle support for teachers. The school combines American-style programming with global benchmarks like the IB Diploma and AP courses, so it’s a good choice for teachers looking for academic rigor and international pathways.
Lincoln provides housing for new staff, comprehensive worldwide healthcare, relocation allowances, and tuition coverage for children. The diverse student body, English-language environment, and opportunities for language learning help ease the transition for families.
Overall, Lincoln offers an exceptional package that balances professional satisfaction with a high quality of life in one of South America’s most dynamic cities.
